Jr. Church

Each week we offer children's church during our worship service. The time when the children are designated to go downstairs is listed in the bulletin. On the first Sunday of each month, a children's message will be given in church before the children are dismissed to go downstairs.

Prayer is vital to our worship. Praise, intercession, and confession to God through our Lord, Jesus Christ are vital elements of worship here at Washington Boro United Methodist Church.

Modified Service:

Our worship is administered through an active Worship Commission that work on specific projects that encourage and develop meaningful, uplifting services of worship and programs of music and art.

Prayers of Healing

James 5:14 - Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.

Washington Boro UMC offers specific prayers for healing on the second Sunday of each month. Folks are invited to come to the altar rail and the Pastor will pray for each individual and anoint them with oil if they desire.

Holy Communion

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of February, April, June, August, October, and the first Sunday of Advent. Communion is also offered on Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday and other special times that will be noted throughout the year.
